Alas the nausea has returned. I thought it was gone, at least it had been for the 3 months. But that is no more. It has returned!!!!! The dizziness and gagging is back, but at least I can still eat. So my whining list of "ailments" is as follows ~ Nausea ~Back pain ~headaches ~Im a fatty ~Itchy ~crazy hair ~giant boobs ~heartburn ~hot flashes ~can't sleep ~basically uncomfortable ~Moody ~weepy ~irritable ~my innie is now an outie ~big feet ~congestion ~Oh did I mention ...
That is me, a pregnant woman on fire. I never thought at 22 I would be experiencing such horrible heartburn and hot flashes. Pregnancy REALLY changes your body. I have no temp. control right now, I am either boiling hot or freezing. My chest is on fire whenever I eat, or lay down which has made falling asleep next to impossible! 3 more months till I get to hold that baby girl in my arms...... 3 more months that the temp just keeps gettting hotter!!!
After I got off work today my hubby and I had a nice date before he went to work. We went and walked down the south end of eat street and through the Loring Heights, Lyn lake and Uptown neighborhoods, we hoofed about 3 miles. On our walk we picked up some ice cream (my current must have daily food). It was so nice to finally get to spend more than 10 minutes together, and enjoy the nice weather. I had my check up yesterday and I had gained 7.5 lbs in 4 weeks!!!!!!! That brings me to a total of 20.5 lbs in 24 weeks. Wow. This little baby girl is getting big, and sooooooo active. She is constantly kicking, punching elbowing and flipping around my belly. It is such a neat experience! It seems to be going so fast now, I will cherish these next 3 months while I get to keep her so close. As far as non- baby stuff goes, we are closing on our new house in 3 1/2 weeks!!!!!! I am at a little over 23 weeks, and have gained at least 15 pounds in this pregnancy. I never knew a baby that only weighs a pound could be so heavy! My back is killing me, my chest is heavy, my huge belly is even heavier. I am actually becoming to big for a few of my maternity clothes! I stole a chance at Jaysen's school computer so I thought I would give a little "my life update". I started a new job about a week and a half ago, finally someone was willing to hire a prego girl that would be leaving for 2 months come July! I am working with two autisic kids in Eagan. The job has its challanges, but the kids are great and I think it is the perfect job for me right now. Baby seems to be doing well. (little Jayna or Jaylynn, for now we call her baby J) Kicking up a storm...
We signed a purchase agreement on a new home on Monday. I am so excited! Construction should be done by end of April, and then we can move right in! The "skeleton" of the house is up, the siding, brick and roof, and a the framework of the interior. We got to pick out the carpet, flooring, and appliances this week, so that was also exciting. I am so glad to finally have our own big garage, and our own laundry room! No more apartment and no more Minneapolis! We are moving to a good neig...

Hello all~ We had our ultrasound today, and the baby looks great! We not only found out that we are having a girl, but a healthy girl!!!! My quad screen came back great, the tech said I got an A++, no sign of any defects. All the organs look wonderful and the heart is strong. The baby weighs about 13 ounces right now, and is right on track for size and weight. As for me I gained 4 more pounds since last visit to bring me up to 12 pounds so far, so I am gaining weight well. My bell...
Today my car got stuck in the middle of the street because of the 7 inches of snow that by 2pm they still had not plowed. So here I am pregnant, trying to dig out my car, with a little 6 year old in my back seat. After about 20 minutes, a guy offers to help, and gets a bunch of his buddies to help me too. I have quite the active little baby inside me. Our little peanut is quite fond of kicking and moving around my little belly. Baby seems to be most active when I lay down for a rest, apparently baby is on their own schedule!!!! We just started working with a real estate agent to begin our home buying adventure... Wow, what a lot of work just even deciding which houses you are interested in looking at. We want to start by looking at townhouses, There were 400+ in the cities and prices ranges we were interested in, so our realtor weeded through them for us and came up with 100+ for me to look at. Tommorow I begin the journey of my second trimester. YAY! The nausea is becoming less frequent, but I am often EXHAUSTED! I feel like I could sleep for days at a time. I am so glad that we are at another milestone in babies development, I have another appointment next week, so hopefully it will be a great checkup! Happy new year to all of you!
