MY BIRTHDAY!!!!! June 11th.... I graced the world with my presence! tee-hee-hee I will be 23. I never thought at 23 I would be married to a wonderful guy and have a new baby on the way., But here I am and couldn't be more pleased!

I had my ultrasound this afternoon to see how baby is measuring. And I got the good news I am a week ahead. YAY! So my new due date is July 7th. So I am 36 weeks pregnant. In one more week the baby will be considered full term!!! Our little girl weighs about 5 1/2 pounds now, and is head down and ready to be born. From the ultrasound it looks like she has some hair too. I am soo excited to meet her. I have a dr. appt tomorrow, so I may get even more news then!

I hope one of you Joeusers can help me. It is HOT HOT HOT out, and humid. And my a/c is either not working right or I don't know how to start it correctly. I set it on the thermostat, air is coming out of the floor vents in the house, but it isn't cold air. I hve the therostat set to 62, and it is 85 degrees in here. How do I get it to blow out COLD air?

Well I spent a few more hours in L&D the next day, but all is good. I had a dr appt. the next day, and it went well. This dr. scheduled an ultrasound next week to check on size and development, so I am super excited to get another chance to see my little girl before she is born. I am not working anymore, I had to start my maternity leave a few weeks early. Yesterday I started having a lot of hard contractions, that came every five-eight minutes, so off to L&D we went. When they hooked me up to the moniter I couldn't believe how much I was contracting, I had only been marking the strong ones. They checked my cervix, which was "tunneling" but not dialated, and ran some tests. While waiting for the tests they gave me a shot to relax my uterus, but it didn't work long. I had about a 20 minute period with no strong contractions, then they started ...

I am a little over 32 weeks now into my pregnancy and I am out of room I think. She is sooooo long she has to wrap around me, I just hope she moves into position so that she doesn't get stuck sideways! Between this little girl kicking me in the lungs and ribs, the constant heartburn and now a upper respiratory cold, I feel like I will never catch my breath. My chest is sooo tight I feel like I am being squeezed by a boa constrictor.... It reminds me of that kids poem (or was it a song) ***I'm being swallowed by a boa constrictor and I don't like it one bit!**** I am forced to sleep in a semi upright position or I wake up gasping for air. Yuck! Is it July yet???

We had pur walk through on our new house yesterday. I am sooooo excited, all the options and upgrades we picked turned out beautifully. We are feeling very blessed that we are about to move into our brand new home. Three more days until we close! I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday we were looking at houses, and now we are almost home! This April the midwest has been swept with some VERY nice weather, with unseasonable warmth. Today as I drove home from work at 8pm it was still 70 degrees (F)! YAY. I love the warm weather and it makes me really happy that I get to enjoy the spring. I am trying to enjoy it now, before it gets to hot, those 80 and 90 degree days are just around the corner!

We had our taxes done last night. OUCH, so today we had to pay in $2300 in taxes. That amount of money is nothing to sneeze at. So now we will have to wait on buying a dining room table for the new house. It also means that we won't get to have a 4-d ultrasound to see the baby. At least there are worse things, and we are lucky we could find a way to pay it. But man, thats a lot of money.

Today we bought a digital camcorder so that we can videotape our up and coming diva! It has a digital still camera too, so maybe I will be able to post some photos of me and my belly! I really wanted a video camera to capture some of our up and coming milestones. I want to video tape some of the new house as they finish construction, and when we move in two weeks!!!!!! I thought it would be neat to get to tape some of my baby showers and these last few months while I get bigger and bigger...
