I just got another email from American Baby of course this week it was titled Your baby is seven weeks old. I keep asking to be taken off their mailing list, but every week another email, or letter or magazine. I don't need a reminder that her if your daughter hadn't died she would be this old. I hate opening my email to have that reminder. Do they not know I know EXACTLY how old she would be? I think about it every day. So all I can say is if I get one more email american baby, you better ...
Lately I have been feeling sorry for myself. Not like a "I hate my life" type of pity, but a more of a "booo-hoo woe is me." I feel like I am not happy with where I am in life. I know part of this is to do with things I can somewhat control, and I am fine with that. It is the embracing of thigs uncontrorable that drives me to tears. I am tonight writing about things I can not control, that make my life hard. First off I am sick. I think often back to what my now husband wa...
For those of you who have read my blog or know me "in person", know that we lost our daughter Jayden Lynn last November while I was in my 2nd trimester. Until now we have not been ready to try again. (did you read that close? Unitl NOW) Thats right, I have baby fever! I have been dreaming of being pregnant, cooing over every baby and pregnant woman I see, and feeling very maternal. We were looking at planning a vacation, and any place involving drinking I gave the veto. (Cancun, Vegas,...
It is husbands birthday today! I am overjoyed at this day! My husband is my most favorite person in the whole world and I love him to pieces. Tonight we will celebrate with food, drinks and a cake I made at Old Chicago. I put a lot of thought into his gift this year so I hope he likes it.Happy Birthday LOVE!
Now That I have moved out of the suburbs and into downtown Minneapolis, I have had many eye-opening experiences that are starting to change the way I think. Not a day goes by where I don't see a homless person. On the drive home from work it is one on each corner of the freeway exit. They have shifts and days I 'm starting to notice. The Native in his forties, begging for cash is there saturdays afternoon. The black man in his 30's only want cash and smokes. The day I gave him a lighter, h...

After work I picked up my cuz at the airport, because she was sweet enough to fly down just for my b-day! Am I lucky or what! Although it was thuderstorming it stopped just long enough to start the grill and BBQ our food. H...

My cousin Casey and I went to a scrapbooking retreat from Sat- Monday, this past weekend. It was quite the ad\venture. It was in Beaver Bay MN which is a *gasp* five hour drive. It also has only 175 people living in the town. It was quite small. On the drive up, we got to experience HORRIBLE weather, Downpour where we could not see the road, and then Fog where you couldn't see the road again. YUCK! We actually got some scrapbooking done... Or as Casey says "Hard core scrapbooking"....
After reading Jaime's blog I had a craving for some culver's frozen custard. So Jay and I went to Culver's for a treat. I had a double scoop of chocolate and vanilla frozen custard. And it was good.......
Husband and I watched the Miss Universe pagent tonight. My favorite from the begining was Miss Aussie, and she won! We bet on the pagent, so now he has to wash the dishes for the next 5 days. I thought Miss India should of made it father, she was the prettiest. Or according to Jaysen"she's really hot". So congrat to all my aussie friends.... you have a Miss Universe among you!
This weekend I spent at my friend Cindy's scrapbooking. I got a lot of pages done in my album I am making as a gift for my nanny kids. Cindy's daughters were there , my mom and my cousin Casey. It was awesome to see other peoples ideas and fun to all work together. Cindy kept us well fed too! It was really relaxing, and I am hopefully going to be able to go on a scrapbooking retreat this weeken with Casey, depending if I work monday. I really hope I can go, so I can finish a lot of the ...
I am super excited! A wonderfully nice co-worker of mine is switching shifts with me so I can get to go to my audition this Saturday. I ralked to the head of the team that is casting, and preference will be given to models over 5ft 6in... Woo hoo I am 5'8!!! And thin lanky chicas, a I skinny as can be and lanky like a giraffe..... So I am hopeful, but not overally, that I will get to do this, since there is not a lot of chances to do runway work in Minnesota... So wish me luck!
