Latley my huband always has his ipod on. I love when I am in the other room and I hear him singing along to the songs. I can't hear the songs themselves because of the head phones, but I think it is so cute when I hear him singing along. He is so adorable, I love him to pieces.

I feel like we live in a culture on the go. People are always busy, overbooked and full of plans. Our food is made to be on the go, Our cars not only get us from point a to point b, thy entertain us with CD's Dvd's and communication systems. Things we own must be small so we can grab them and go at a moments notice. Grab your laptop, your phone with wireless internet (alway have to be conected), your i-pod (do you really need all 4000 songs you own at a touch of the button?) I am gul...

Today we brought home our new 8 month old baby boy named Jefferson. He is a tiny little guy with red hair and green eyes. He really likes to be held and playing with balls. He is a healthy eater and adorable to boot. We are lucky for this new addition to our Family. Our new baby boy was adopted from Anmal Ark shelter in MN, he is a welcome new mwmber in our family. He joins our other cat Truman also from Animal ark. So now we have two awesome cats. Harry S. Truman and Thomas Jefferso...

On Sunday it was my poppa's 74th birthday. Our whole family went to me grandma and poppa's to celebrate. It was really nice to be able to see everyone again. Everyone came except my sister(she had to work) and my Cousins Jamie, Kuzuko, and there son Kentaro. (They are in Japan) We had Pizza and snacks and visited. My poppa can be kind of grumpy when there are lots of people around, topped by the fact he just got out of a one week hospital stay, but I think he truley enjoyed us being there....

Tonight as I got off work, I called my husband at work. (He works PT at applebees in the summer to supplement his teaching checks.) I was planning on stopping there for a little supper and was letting him know I ws on my way. When I called the host told me he hadn't shown up for work that day. Jaysen is one of the most responsible persons I know, so that was completly out of character. I was a little worried, so I called home. He was not at home, so of course what do I think. "Ther...

I have a problem and that is my sister. We are 2 and a half years apart. I have always thought of us as being close, but apparently I am wrong in that fact. It seems she does not care for me very much. She is 19 and is becoming a very selfish person, which makes me sad. She did not even give my mom a card gor mothers day, and did not give my Dad a fathers day present either, She did not acknowledge my birthday either, Now I am not complaining about not getting a gift, because I could c...

For those of you who have read my blog or know me "in person", know that we lost our daughter Jayden Lynn last November while I was in my 2nd trimester. Until now we have not been ready to try again. (did you read that close? Unitl NOW) Thats right, I have baby fever! I have been dreaming of being pregnant, cooing over every baby and pregnant woman I see, and feeling very maternal. We were looking at planning a vacation, and any place involving drinking I gave the veto. (Cancun, Vegas,...

My Birthday was on Friday, and it ended up being a wonderful day, thanks in large part to my wonderful husband! Unfortuantly I was unable to get off work and had to be there at seven, but my sweet husband suprised me with a bouqet of flower at work.... what a DOLL! After work I picked up my cuz at the airport, because she was sweet enough to fly down just for my b-day! Am I lucky or what! Although it was thuderstorming it stopped just long enough to start the grill and BBQ our food. H...

My heart goes out to my friend Shana tonight, who just delivered a beautiful baby boy who was stillborn. She had been 6 1/2 months pregnant. I know how hard it is to lose a baby this way, as this is how my daughter died. There is so many unanswered qustions and so much pain. Shana and I where excited to have our children close in age, we always wanted them to play together. Now our babies can be playmates in heaven. We have our own littles angels. Please pray for her and her family, lo...

Now that Mothers day is coming up, it has been very emotional for me. This was supposed to be my first mothers day with my daughter. So Sunday (May 9) is going to be really hard. People don't think of me as a Mom anymore now that my daughter is gone. I found this poem that helped me validate that I am a mom. What makes a Mother? Written by Jennifer Wasik In memory of Zachery Wasik. I thought of you and closed my eyes And prayed to God today I asked "What makes a Mother?" And ...

I found this on a website. (www.geocities.com/babiesinheaven) I thought it described how I feel often about my daughter. People don't know how to act... I wish they would read this. I wish you would not be afraid to mention my baby. The truth is just because you never saw my baby doesn’t mean he or she doesn’t deserve your recognition. I wish that if we did talk about my baby and I cried you didn’t think it was because you have hurt me by mentioning my baby. The truth is I need to cry ...

My mom is the greatest. Today as I was cleaning our old townhouse, scrubbing it top to bottom. My mom brought my over chicken friend rice from my favorite chinese food place. She knew I would be hungry and could use a break.... She knows me really well! My mom is always doing nice things for me, she is the most selfless person I know. She loves her kids, and will do anything for them. My brother, sister and I are very lucky.

Our cat Truman is crazy. I think he has lost his mind. He likes the new house and procedes to run full speed back and forth across the house sliding into walls. (We have terra cotta floors) He also keeps trying to climb up the jackets in the closet to try and swat the drawstrings. Truman is part siamese so he has the well known siamese meow. For those unfamilar... think a crying baby. We likes to awaken us at 5 am with this. He constantly need attention. He will bring his toys over and dro...

This week Jaysen and I begin a new adventure... we are moving to downtown Minneapolis! We are moving to an awesome building that was built in the ealy 1900;s, and was a huge hotel. Their is really cool architecture, and huge ceilings. Although my sister says the common hallways remind her of the shining.... WE love our new neighborhood, it is such a drastic change from living in the suburbs our whole life. Instead of farm fields and lakes, we see the Minneapolis skyscrapers. The culture of...

I had a really nice Friday with my dad. We drove up north to our cabin to turn the water on, and set up delvering for re-roofing supplies. We drove around, had a little afternoon lunch and turned back to drive home. On our way home we stopped at Albertville Premium outlets. We spent a few hours there looking for deals and just browsing. It was so fun. My dad loves shopping as I do, so we are excellent shopping partners! I had such an awesome time with my dad.... In fact I think it will ...
