Last night Mr Right and I rented One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. I still am not sure if I liked it or not. For being made in the 70's it was pretty good, but I am not sure I really liked the whole story line. I felt like it was a little far-fetched, although my hubby the pych teacher informs me that mental health care is not what it was in the 70's. Jack Nicholsen of course was great, he almost always is. What I did like is the VERY young Danny DeVito. That was interesting. Maybe aft...

I love my husband so much! He has been on spring break this week and we have been able to spend a lot of time together. He is the best guy I could ever ask for. He has cooked me yummy breakfast's. And took me shopping yesterday. He hates shopping, but loves me so he took me. I love all the nice things he does to make me feel special. He gives me random hugs and kisses. We have been taking naps during his break. I love cuddling with him and taking a little rest. Spending the day with him is he...

I am married to a republican. I relate more independent or democrat, but vote more independent. Now my husband is not on the line at all, he is very Republican, involved in politics, and hopes to start running for offices. We are both passionate on our political stance and this can be a cause for great emotions when we debate politically. All I need to say to get him riled up is, "My vote is going to cancel out your vote." He has wonderful debate skills and can get me in tears about an is...

I have been very interested, in light of recent articles, how cultural and racial biases are formed. IMO I think it has to be ignorance. To generalize an entire group of people seems ludicris. I racked my brain trying to think of a whole group I am prejudiced against and I could not think of one. I would like to think I am not the minority in this. I am more hopeful in humanity to think that this the norm. I know in every group of people there are unfavorable members, but should we...

Last night husband and I rented Matchstick men starring Nicholas Cage. It was really good. We both really enjoyed all the movies twists and turns! Nicholas Cage was really good in it (of course). The movies basic plot is Nic is a con man that also has OCD. Him and his partner are going for the biggest con they have done. During this he also meets his 14 year old daughter, that he has never met... then things get twisted. I have to be vauge so as not to give away any of it. I suggest y...

Last night was spent at the Fine Line trying to enjoy some local music. Unfortunatly we failed! There was only one decent band. (Sue Generis) and even they were not as good as they ussually are. It seemed like their guitarist was just trying to hard to be cool and the lead singer talked way to much. It made them look not so great, which is too bad because they are good musicians. We started watching Spellbound, a documentary about kids in the National spelling bee. I saw a little over half ...

THank God this week is over! I don't know about the rest of you but I seemed to have a hectic and horrible week. Is it the weather that makes extra stress seem unbearable? I am looking foward to a show tonight in Minneapolis. There are 5 local bands, 3 of whom I have never heard of but Sur Generis is playing so they are definatly worth going. There is a lot of pressure on this to redeem my week. Hubby I and friend Andy are going. YAY.... fun to come.... I hope!

Hubby and I rented School of rock last night. It stars Jack Blasck and an array of talented kids. I was actually suprised at how good it was. I didn't expect to much from it being that it did star Jack Black. But it was good. Really cute feel good movie. THe kids stole the show though, all the child actors had talent which is nice to see. This movie also has Joan Cusak (sp?) and she did a phenomanal job. So rent this movie when you feel like a light hearted comedy! On another note..... For ...
