We went to the Minnesota state fair yesterday with my sister and her boyfriend. What a fun time! Jayna spent most of the time riding in the mei tai and sling worn by me or my sister. We brought the stroller which ended up working well to carry all our stuff, even though Jayna didn't ride in it much.

The best part was the food. I had Kettle corn, beef jerky, frozen grapes, cider freeze, and some honey sticks. The others had more traditional fair food. Corn dogs, french fries, and lemonades.

We saw huge horses and baby pigs, and how they milk cows with machines. Monica's boyfriend bought a fancy broom in the mechandise mart, and we signed up for many drawings.

It was a great time. I was impressed this year because they had a building air-conditioned private rooms where you could nurse your baby. We used them for one of her feedings and I thought it was a nice extra.

How fun! I love going to the State fair. That is definitely one thing I have missed since moving to Hawai'i. It has always been one of my favorite times of the year. Mayeb once I get all this school business out of the way I will be able to come home for the fair!

AS for food, I think the milk station where you can drink al the milk you want for like a dollar is the best. Plus cheese curds.
