I had to run to Target to pick up a few things I still needed to put in my hospital bag. When I came back home I found all the plactic/rubber parts of my brand new pump strewn across the kitchen and dining room. All chewed up and ruined. So basically $60.00 out the window.
The damn cat stole it out of the bag it was in waiting to be sterilized. I am furious. It is not like I have a lot of extra money laying around since I had to start my maternity leave 3 weeks early. Now I have to buy a new pump.
I am so pissed that the baby is not even here yet and there is baby stuff already getting ruined. I can't afford to buy all the baby stuff twice!

What made the cat go after it? Was it used, with remnants of milk on it?

Just curious for no particular reason...maybe you just have a really naughty cat. I can't imagine why a cat would go after something like that. My cat goes after anything with milk / dairy / or meat remnants. He can clean up a small yogurt spill in 30 seconds flat!

It probably went after the rubber seals and parts because they moved and rolled around when it batted at them. That's what our cat does...goes for anything that moves, even the broom when I'm trying to sweep.

angela~ No it had never been used. Our cat had a weird behavior of chewing on rubberey stuff. He goes nuts when he sees it. Like those lance armstrong band bracelets.
I just cant believe he acutally dup them out and left all the other hard plastic parts alone.

I think I have a really naughty cat.
