Birthday and baby shower!
This weekend was very busy. Saturday was my birthday and 2 graduation parties and Sunday (today) my aunt threw me a baby shower.
On my birthday I got some really great and thoughtful gifts. My sister even got my an hour long prenatal massage!!!! I go to it on Tuesday, and am soooooo excited. Jaysen got me a beautiful silver engraved frame for the first picture of me and my daughter together. I also got a great subscribtion to Family Fun, and a gravity lounger for my deck! SOoooooo Comfy! I also got money from my grandma and grandpa, which me and Jaysen used to have dinner at Timberlodge. (A YUMMY steakhouse) I was really suprised at what great and generous gifts I got. I was spoiled!
Today my aunt threw me a baby shower with my maternal side of the family. It was a nice turn out. My other aunt even drove down from Duluth to come!!! Baby Jayna got some great things, along with some gift cards so we will be able to get some of the other things we will need for her arrival. (We will probably use them for a car seat). She also got some more money for her piggy bank. I can't wait until we can get her ss# and open her own savings account.... all the little firsts excite me.
This was my 3rd baby shower for Jayna so I am feeling mighty spoiled. We have been very blessed, and people have given us such beautiful and generous gifts. I have another (my last) shower tomorrow, being thrown by my moms best friend. It is so nice that all these friends and family have had showers for me, and so many of my family and friends have attended.
While I am VERY greatful for these parties and showers, now with only 4 weeks to go they are very tiring on me. My body is definatly feeling the baby weight lately. But the parties have been really fun and such a nice chance to see friends and family. I truly don't deserve all the attention and generous gifts, but Jaysen and I appreciate them sooooooooo much. This baby is much loved, not only by us but it seems everyone I know! 
(It is a very nice feeling).
