Update.

Well tommrow I am at the 9 week point in my pregnancy which means in a few weeks we are past the first trimester.

I hope that brings no nausea, and a healthier appitite.

I am doing a pretty good job of eating, although most everything I gag on, but I keep telling myself it's for the baby, and force it down.

In about 2 weeks I visit my wonderful doctor and hopefully we will be able to hear our little ones heartbeat. I can't wait!

This new blessing has forced a lot of decisions on Jaysen and I, which is good. We are looking at buying a house, and saving every penny. We are trying to cut evry unnecessary bill we have. Because of this we are ending our high speed connection, and I will not be able to get online very often.(although I have already been doing a horrible time of getting on as of now)

I do hope to still talk to you all my Joe U friends and family, so please email me anytime at Link

Thank you to all of you who have been wishing me well and praying for my baby...

My friend teegs left this comment on my shopping blog for you Joey ---
hey janders you should take a leaf out of trina's book -- most of the clothes she wore when she was pregnant weren't special "maternity" clothes (which i reckon they jack up the price on because they're specialty items) but were just larger clothes with the right kind of cut or stretchier material.

It's true I didn't put on any weight so until I was 30 weeks I could still fit my jeans, but my bust expanded so I bought some bigger tops I was a 10 and I bought size 12 tops - Kmart was my shop of choice -- my favourite was a shirt (found in the "maternity" section) that tied up at the back so I could tighten or loosen it throughout the last 4 months of my pregnancy as I got bigger - I got it for about $15 on sale ($20 off I think) and I wore it ALL the time - I interchanged with about 3 tops and by the end I was wearing Nick's old t-shirts around the house.

You don't have to buy "maternity" clothes - have you thought of a belly belt - I didn't get one because I didn't need it by the time my jeans stopped fitting me I was wearing my overalls permenantly (Op shops - my mum works in an op shop and she put aside some clothes for me - I had 4 pairs of old overalls) But if you wear a long enough shirt you won't see it and the belly belt snaps in front and stretches - they're about $20 (here) and I think well worth the money

Also my cousin lent me some of the skirts and shirts she wore while pregnant for work -- unless you retain water and expand in other places besides your belly maternity clothes can just be bigger sizes in the clothes you like.

This is so exciting Joey - 9 weeks, I had my second ultrasound at 8weeks 1 day - she was so tiny like a little jellybean -- the worst thing is drinking all the water and busting to pee but you can't until they finish -- The really worst thing is if you drink too much water and they tell you to let a little bit out and come back - "just to the count of 10" - it's very hard to stop!

My elana is 1 on Monday - not a little jellybean anymore.

So good to hear things are going well Janders. Best of luck and wishes to you!

You know, my wife is almost 30 weeks and still wears her regular pants. She just wears them below her tummy. And she had one of those waistband expanders, it was a great invention!
