When you look back at your life do you remember everything, or just certian moments that stick out over others.

We tend to remember moments about oursleves and others. During a eulogy, people speak of the important positive moments in our life. Marriages, Children, professional and personal acomplishments.

Not all momets are positive. Are you reminded more often of the negative moments in you life? The mistakes? Do you dwell on the moments that you wish you could change, those you wish nobody would remember.

What moments in your life stand out most? What mmoments do you want remembered when people think of you?

My mind stays locked in on the stupid things that I've done or said, things that Im embarassed about, things I regret, or things that hurt someone (or me) more than anything.

Thats why I take so many pictures, I think... When I am having a good time, I usually need something to help me remember it by.. I need something that will trigger the good memory or the funny story.

It scares me how quickly I forget even my favorite moments and things I've enjoyed the most.

This kind of thing reminds me of just how much of a baby I really am. i don't think there is anything in my life that truely stands out. Leaving school, and when my niece was born spring to mind. When an ex boyfriend joined the Navy. Hmmm, I guess I have a lot of living left to do huh!

I think regret, pain and hurting others are the things that stand out most to me, because they are the things I am most embarrased and ashamed about.

On a good day I remember the time I got my mom a whole carload of flowers, for no special reason other than she used to say she didn't want them after she died, she wanted them now.
On a bad day I remember all the time I could have spent with her, instead of running off to the roller rink, or spending the afternoons riding my horse throught the woods.
On an average day, well I just try to see how many good things I can do now, and try to convince myself we all have to grow up at our own speed.....

The most significant times for me are the times I spent with friends, friends who were and have always been there for me. I feel like at every turn I make new friends and leave old ones, thats always a happy and sad time for me, to connect with someone for a day and then to have to leave them
