I was thinking today.

In Febuary the day I left for Hawaai it was -20 degrees (F) .

The last two days (july 20th and 21st) here it was in the 90's.

Only in Minnesota can there be a 110 degree temperature difference in 6 months,

Don't you just love it?

Not to one-up you per se, but my mother-in-law went from the -40s to the 90s in the same time period.... Now admittedly it's pretty rare for Alaska to see 90+-degree days, but they do get 70's pretty regularly in the summer. Right now it's supposed to be mid-80's in North Pole. (She came to see us in December, when it was in the teens here (I'm also in MN), and she kept her jacket open pretty much the whole time because it was "so warm".)

Heh... try 20F - 90F in the space of a single day. Welcome to Maine.

SD's just as bad.

Hurricane winds, blizzard conditions and 8 ft of snow one day...and 70 degrees and sunny 2 days later.

I'm glad I'm moving.

I just wish it was always 90 degrees here. I hate cold weather!
