My mom is the greatest. Today as I was cleaning our old townhouse, scrubbing it top to bottom. My mom brought my over chicken friend rice from my favorite chinese food place.

She knew I would be hungry and could use a break.... She knows me really well! My mom is always doing nice things for me, she is the most selfless person I know. She loves her kids, and will do anything for them. My brother, sister and I are very lucky.

Muggs, same here in the states...May 9th, right? I love my mom too, but I couldn't live with her. We're too much alike and we don't get along if we're together for too long. Like my dad says "We're two Aces of Spades in the same deck of cards."

It is great that you get along with your mom so well. Yours can't be the greatest though.........mine is! I have always enjoyed an extremely good relationship with my mom. I feel badly for those who don't have a good relationship.

Yes, May 9th is Mother's Day and I expect to be pampered Actually, I am hoping to go shopping for a bike and a trailor to tow the kids in.

Best Wishes!

My mother and I didn't get along until three years ago. She is eighty nine. But when I came and stayed with her when Dad was dying, she appreciated my support. I visit her once a month in Salem and she enjoys my visits and so do I. So there's always hope.

My mom and I did not always get along.as well. Mostly teenage angst I think! She is my best friend, I can talk to her about anything.

It's like a "best mom" competition.  Each entry can be made by anecdote.

In the final analysis: Mom's always try to do what's best for the kids.
