Truman is losing his mind!

Or making me lose mine!

Our cat Truman is crazy. I think he has lost his mind. He likes the new house and procedes to run full speed back and forth across the house sliding into walls. (We have terra cotta floors) He also keeps trying to climb up the jackets in the closet to try and swat the drawstrings.

Truman is part siamese so he has the well known siamese meow. For those unfamilar... think a crying baby. We likes to awaken us at 5 am with this. He constantly need attention. He will bring his toys over and drop them on your lap.

Right now he will not let me go to sleep, he just wants me up. Yet he doesn't want to play, or need fodd or water. He just wants me in the room. What a weirdo. If I lay down, he comes in and cries. So I am staying up. BLAH!

My cat is crazy.

Are you sure that it is is your cat that is crazy or you? You let a cat tell you when to sleep? Just kidding. I think he just knows what he wants and how to get it.

I went to a shelter the other day to play with Kittens, and the one I fell in love with looks just like Truman.. only.. kitten sized. Craaaazzy.

My cat, Miss Kitty, will come and sit next to me on my bed (or sit on my back if I'm laying on my belly) at 5am, when it starts to get light, purr loudly, and make 'biscuits' until I get up and feed her. My daughter's cat, Pixie, is the same as Truman...very 'needy', wants to be held, and petted, and made a fuss of. It's a pain in the ass at times...

My cat, Trixie, used to do that. I think they are called midnight crazies.
She'd run back and forth and around the room in circles. Once, I closed the door before she could complete her circle. She slammed head first into the door. Little to say, I laughed my ass off but my cat was pissed. Cats are the queens of grudges.
