Jayna has really discovered herself, and all the things she can do. She is overtaken the furniture, climbs up to the top of the couch, on top og the coffe table, up her larger toys... If its high she scales it....

She is obsessed with climbing, before I was obsessed with keeping her DOWN... but it seems like a lost cause and I may need to re-focus on teaching her to get down safely....

Let toddler-hood begin..........

Toddlers are great creatures. They are so adept at finding trouble in the least expected places, but better yet, they are also incredibly durable. They'll take bumps, scrapes, skids, scuffs, and even major bends and possibly breaks and bounce back like it never even happened. They'll heal up in days while middle-aged slightly pudgy (ok, I'll admit it, I'm "fat" in the gut) guys need weeks or months to heal up.

It's all part of nature protecting the youngest while teaching them lessons the hard way.

Fascinating to watch though, and great to help participate in.

Ugh, climbers are the worst. They make me so nervous. You just can't turn your back on them but it seems like they all make it to adult hood even if they do have a few head bumps on the way.

Absolutely fantastic title. I'm using this as a threat to my coworkers on Monday.

Oh, and I'm sure Jayna will live through the growing pains. The real question is, How is your heart??

I hope she gets through all of her adventures(or misadventures) fine.
