My husband and I have decided that it would be better if I did not go back to work. I think Jayna and our family will benefit more by me staying home.

I was only going to work three 4 hour shifts a week. But Jayna was going to go to my parents, Jay's parents or my Grandma's or sisters during my work time. It is a lot of work to get her from place to place, plus I would have to pump. The idea of taking baby out in fridgid winter weather doesn't please me either.

Jaysen picked up another class at school, so that will bring in more money. I don't make much working 12 hours a week, so that isn't a big issue.

We figure if push comes to shove we can live with only one car. That is fine by me.

I think that the time goes by so fast in the "baby years", I want to spend as much time as possible with my girl before she grows up so fast.

I think my work is going to be really mad, but I have to do best for my family.

Good for you, janders. Sometimes you have to weigh up what's more important to you - material possessions or happy babies.

I know that whilst staying home was rough financially, it was the best decision I ever made.

It is amazing, "things" don't seem to matter anymore.

Having a baby changes your whole mentality. My whole life is for her now, she is the missing piece to my puzzle.

Fantastic! Being a SAHM is a wonderful choice if you have the option. I'm proud of you....but make sure that you still take time for you! Being cooped up with a baby and no trasportation in the winter could get frustrating. Head off potential problems later by making sure you do something for yourself regularly. have a hobby or something for your snaity....although JU may fit the bill! (It did help me!)

janders,

Good to hear! I am sure you and your hubby will be the most excellent parents your little angel could have!
